Hobbes plush I made for my boyfriend for Christmas. He told me this story about how he had always wanted one as a kid but since they never went into production his mom obviously couldn’t find one and had given him a stuffed tiger. He loved that stuffed tiger so much until it was sent to the great plushie beyond when his dog tore it to shreds when he was in his teens. So I thought I had to replace it, and this time it’ll be like actual Hobbes :)
I used an instructables pattern, but if I was to do it again I think I’d make my own instead, there were some tweaks I really want to make to this. But for the first job, I’d say I like it. All those stripes had to be hand sewn on :3
catching up on some older stuff. I did this commission in the summer. Thor with alfredo hair x) I had made myself one, and after Avengers came out a friend saw mine and wanted one for themselves. After much pattern tweaking, I came up with this, which is kind’ve a cross between the movie and classic Thor, but not really being either. I’m hoping to keep tweaking the pattern so I can make removable clothes so it can be from any comic/movie version. :) (Okay, maybe I just really want to make mine with Mighty Avenger Thor clothes…)
